Rethinking Everything

Prof. Keith Scott-Mumby writes... "I suggested maybe we should
re-christen the drug industry as the FARMER-ceutical trade. We are the
crop that is being farmed so cunningly and with such disastrous
consequences."

A bit extreme? Perhaps not. When you think about all the chemicals
pumped into our systems, both directly and indirectly (vaccines,
pesticides, nicotine, etc.), the FDA wouldn't certify human beings
because we are so full of toxins! Then who has to pay to get healthy
again? We do.

Even here in Canada, most alternative medicine is considered
"experimental" and therefore not covered by our health care system. But
what happens when the covered medical services can't help? We are left
on our own searching for answers and paying out of our own pockets to
cover our expenses.

We have to keep rethinking everything.

How long has it been since we last heard the threats of the bird flu
pandemic? I mean, this was something that we were being told by the
governments was going to wipe out our populations unless we got these
life-saving vaccinations. We are talking mass burial graves as "they"
were painting it.

Now, as far as I know, the pharmaceutical companies are still churning
out the medicine to all sorts of countries that fell for the well
scripted plot. But who is actually going to need to use it all?

And the real question is, how come we don't hear about it any more? Is
it not a pandemic threat anymore. Was it ever a real problem? It just
disappeared or was it even there to begin with? Was it just a handy
news filler until the war took over the airwaves?

We gotta keep rethinking everything.

I managed to catch the ABC hour-long special report on Adam, the young energy healer in Vancouver B.C. I was watching what I assumed would be an unbiased report on the scientific proof behind energy healing as well as hearing about the success rates --both sides of the statistics -- of Adam's students.

What I ended up watching seemed to be another biased and well-edited version of what ABC wanted us to believe energy healing is all about — fraud, trickery, and "magic" that doesn't work.

Do you think that Adam should have agreed to do this show? In the past, he has been criticized for not agreeing to allow reporters in. The media then claimed he must be a fraud or else he wouldn't be afraid to let them in.

Now he let them in, and they left the viewers with the impression that he is not all he claims to be. But what exactly do they think he claims to be doing? Have they read his books? Did they listen to what he says in his workshops?

Is that just another mass media way of manipulating the people to think what they tell them to think?

We hear something new almost everyday with regards to diet or health or nutrition. Remember when eating eggs was harmful to your health? Now, "sources report" that eating up to 7 eggs a week should pose no significant health risk.

So who is researching this information in the first place?

I was intrigued to find out that the original recommended food groups and servings by the government did not include dairy as a food group. So who added it on there? Would you be surprised to hear that it was the dairy farmers that had something to do with it?

What else are we taking as unbiased scientific information that is really information fed to us by a specific group that can financially benefit from us believing what they say?

What do you think about the mass media fed "scientific" data guiding us on our yo-yo life of health and nutrition?
